Andrew at 18 Months [Columbus, OH Child Photographer]

I had an absolute blast with this little man! I have a blast at every one of his sessions. During this session we saw helicopters (note his expression in the first photo), saw airplanes, watched buses, played with trucks, and danced. Thanks for such a fun session, Angela & Andrew! I can't wait for our next :)

The V Family [Hilliard, Ohio Family Photographer]

I had been trying for 6 months to capture these girls in a picture together, smiling, and I finally did it! We met for Ava's 6 month session, and ended up getting some great pictures of her with her big sister and mom and dad! I loved this session so much! Stay tuned tomorrow for some more pictures from her session.

Max, Maddie, and Emily [Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer]

This sweet family was one of my very first clients. They have the most beautiful kids, don't they? Although their baby days are over, I am enjoying watching the twins, and Emily grow up from behind my lens. Thanks, Jen & Bart for the continued loyalty!

Ellie is 2! [Hilliard, Ohio Child Photographer]

Meet my friend, Ellie. She turned 2 and is such a character! She is one of the smartest toddlers I have ever met! It's amazing to hear what this girl knows. We had a great time at her session, and she made sure to let me know how much she loved fruit snacks :)

The V Family [Westerville, OH Family Photographer]

I have been photographing this family since they were expecting sweet Alexis. I always look forward to our sessions. I brought my 7 year old daughter with me to this session because she is an awesome helper with the little ones. It's a good thing I did, because Alexis just loved her. Thanks, V family for allowing me to capture your memories year after year!

Mr. Christian [Columbus, Ohio Child Photographer]

This handsome man is 18 months old and full of energy! I had so much fun playing in the sprinkles, chasing him around. We played peek-a-boo and did lots of running. This is probably my favorite age to photograph because you can't get them to "pose" for you. You just chase them with your camera, and capture life as it happens!

Emma is 2! [Westerville, Ohio Child Photography]

I can't believe it's been 2 years since I first laid eyes on this cutie! It's been so much fun watching her grow up behind my lens. Miss Emma is going to be a big sister in just a few months, and I can't wait to share pics of Miss Elli when she arrives!

Andrew is 1! [Columbus, Ohio Child Photographer]

Sweet Andrew has turned in to such a little man! I can't believe I was doing his mom's maternity pictures just a year ago! I loved the little tie that he was wearing. He looked so grown up! I have loved watching him grow up the past year, and am looking forward to watching him grow in the years to come!

Meeting Audrey [Columbus, OH Newborn Photographer]

I first met this beautiful family for Momma's maternity pics. I fell in love with her boys instantly, and knew her daughter would be just as adorable. Her boys were so polite and so willing to do whatever I asked of them. Little Audrey was also willing to do whatever I asked of her, as long as I didn't touch her hands... :)

Rowan & Gabe [Columbus, OH Child Photographer]

I last photographed Gabe & Rowan at Rowan's newborn shoot in January. I was so excited when their mom contacted me to do another shoot this summer. Rowan had gotten SO big since I last saw her. Gabe was full of energy, but I managed to get some GREAT shots of him. They are both such beautiful kids! I look forward to capturing more memories with them in the future. Thanks so much, Ben & Carrie for trusting me with your kids' memories!

Ellia & Naven [Westerville, Ohio Child Photographer[

One of the best parts of my job is getting to photograph my friends' kids. It is awesome to get to see them grow up in life and behind my lens. These two little ones are my little buddies, and I just love to take their pictures. How could you not? They're gorgeous :)

Two Little Princesses [Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer]

I met this beautiful family one summer morning at a park near their home. The littlest princess was very slow to warm up, but eventually we were able to get some smiles. She just wanted her "Papa" the whole time. I love a daddy's girl. And, these two were definitely daddy's girls. Danielle & Aman, you have a beautiful family! Thank you for allowing me to photograph you and yours!

Bringing Home Our Baby [Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer]

As many of you know, for the past year, we have been trying to add to our family via foster to adopt. We have now had three devastating fall-throughs, and are ready to move on to a private adoption agency. Unfortunately, adoption is very costly. We know this all too well, as we also adopted our 6 year old daughter at birth through a private agency. To try to offset the cost of this adoption to bring the newest member of our family home, we are doing multiple fundraisers. One of these fundraisers is a HUGE deal to my clients. I am going to be offering Adoption Fundraiser Mini-Sessions. All of the money from these mini-sessions will be going in to our adoption fund, to hopefully bring our baby home by the end of 2011. My daughter is SO ready to be a big sister, and we are SO ready to bring our forever baby home. I plan on offering several mini-session days, and will post dates once I have a list of people interested. Please email me if you are interested and I will let you know what dates will be available! Thank you for helping us bring our baby home.

Meeting Rowan [Columbus, OH Newborn Photographer]

I met Rowan at the tender age of 9 days. She was such a sweetheart and slept like a dream. Her mom & I met almost 11 years ago, as new nurses starting out in the NICU. I hadn't seen her since my daughter was born almost 6 1/2 years ago. So, I was extremely excited when she contacted me to do Rowan's newborn pictures. We had a nice time catching up, and I really enjoyed meeting Rowan and her big brother, Gabe. They are such a beautiful family!

2010 in Review [Columbus, Ohio Portrait Photographer]

I wanted to do a year in review post, and was struggling with how I was going to accomplish it. I decided to choose one picture from each session I did in 2010 and post it here. These are all of my personal favorites from each session. Do you know how hard it is to choose just one picture from a session? Virtually impossible...but I did it! These pictures are not necessarily my client's favorites, nor are they all technically perfect. But, those that I chose are shots that spoke to me in one way or another. They are what I love about photography. THANK YOU to all of my amazing clients for making 2010 successful and rewarding. I am looking forward to 2011 and hope that I will continue to shoot your families for years to come.
