Meeting Rowan [Columbus, OH Newborn Photographer]

I met Rowan at the tender age of 9 days. She was such a sweetheart and slept like a dream. Her mom & I met almost 11 years ago, as new nurses starting out in the NICU. I hadn't seen her since my daughter was born almost 6 1/2 years ago. So, I was extremely excited when she contacted me to do Rowan's newborn pictures. We had a nice time catching up, and I really enjoyed meeting Rowan and her big brother, Gabe. They are such a beautiful family!

Referral Incentive [Columbus, OH Newborn Photographer]

I have an awesome referral incentive for my clients!

Everyone who knows me knows that newborns are where my heart is. Babies are the best thing on Earth. I have the best job in the world, both as an NICU nurse, and as a photographer to babies! So, I am offering an awesome referral incentive for newborn sessions.

For every newborn that you refer to me that books and completes a session, you get a FREE session fee (save $100). And, the newborn session that you refer receives a free gift print ($25 value). So, if you know someone that is expecting, send them my way!

(P.S. If you are new client that is interested in booking a newborn session, and are not a referral, but are reading this post, just let me know that you saw this post on my blog, and you will receive a free gift print with your session as well!)

Meeting Sophie [Columbus, Ohio Newborn Photographer]

I had the pleasure of meeting Sophie's parents in December to do their maternity photos. She wasn't supposed to arrive until 2011, but Sophie decided to make her entrance at the end of 2010. I was so excited to do this session, because after meeting her parents and her big brother, I just knew this baby was going to be gorgeous...and I was right. She was breathtaking, and was such a good baby. She slept like a dream and I am so happy with the shots that we got. I can't wait to post her entire gallery for her parents.

2010 in Review [Columbus, Ohio Portrait Photographer]

I wanted to do a year in review post, and was struggling with how I was going to accomplish it. I decided to choose one picture from each session I did in 2010 and post it here. These are all of my personal favorites from each session. Do you know how hard it is to choose just one picture from a session? Virtually impossible...but I did it! These pictures are not necessarily my client's favorites, nor are they all technically perfect. But, those that I chose are shots that spoke to me in one way or another. They are what I love about photography. THANK YOU to all of my amazing clients for making 2010 successful and rewarding. I am looking forward to 2011 and hope that I will continue to shoot your families for years to come.
