Lily
I photographed Lily's family back in November, and her mom asked me to do her 1st birthday pictures. Lily turned one on December 7th. I had SO much fun doing her pics. Her mom had a great birthday shirt, and I brought a tutu and balloons to match. She wasn't sure what to think of the tutu, but she loved the balloons. I can't wait to take pics of her growing up. She is such a sweet baby and I had a great time. Thanks to her momma, Amy, for giving me the honor of capturing her 1st birthday!
J & A
I got to photograph J & A for their annual Christmas picture. J is five years old, and A is going to be two years old in December. They were absolutely adorable. They warmed up to me instantly, and I even got a hug from J when I left. They both wanted to help me set up my backdrop. They were great little helpers. I had such a great time, and their mom was such a big help with the kids. Thanks to everyone for a great session on a gloomy, rainy Monday.
Bode & Jake
I had such a blast with these two. Bode is a rambunctious two year old that is so fun to be around. He kept wanting to "fish" with every stick he found. He had me running around in circles trying to capture his little personality with my camera. Big brother Jake was such a big help with Bode, getting him to stop so that I could get a shot or two. Jake was also quite the subject, as he is very photogenic. Thanks guys, for a great afternoon!
Jeff & Angela
After our second attempt at a photo shoot, due to weather, we finally had a good day. But, boy was it cold! Jeff and Angela were such good sports even though we were freezing in 30 degree weather. Angela is a really good friend of mine, so I was so excited to get to take pictures of her and her husband, Jeff. We had a great time, and got so many great shots. They are such a photogenic couple and have so much fun being together. Thanks, Jeff & Angela for a great morning!
Samantha
I had the opportunity to do a newborn session with baby Sam. She was 5 weeks old when we had our session. She is such a mellow baby. She was wide awake the whole time and let me do whatever to her. She is very sweet. I had so much fun with Sam. Thanks to her mom, Jen for a great session!
Ann & Olivier
I got to spend a beautiful evening at Dawes Arboretum with Ann & Olivier. I seriously have never seen two people more in love. They were so fun to photograph because the chemistry between the two of them was pure magic. Olivier is originally from France and has such a great accent! They are getting married in January and I was so honored to get to do their engagement pictures. I know they will have a lifetime of happiness. Thanks, Ann & Olivier. You guys were so much fun!
Little Heroes
I am proud to announce that I am now a photographer for The Littlest Heroes Project. This is a charitable group of photographers that provide free photo sessions to children from the ages of newborn - 21 with terminal illnesses and birth defects. They also provide free sessions to families that have lost a child to a terminal illness or birth defect within the past 3 years. This is one more way for me to give back. And, I am proud they accepted me in to their family. I am still waiting to hear back from Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Hopefully, they'll want to use me as well.
Caleb & Maddy
I met Caleb and Maddy's mom when Caleb and my daughter were in music class together. That was about 3 years ago. Although we don't get to see each other often enough anymore, she is still a great friend. I was SO happy to be able to take Caleb & Maddy's pictures. Those two kids are pure joy. They were both so cooperative throughout their session and we got such amazing shots. Thanks to Jami, Caleb, and Maddy for a great day!
Jessica & Marcus
I did a shoot with Jessica and Marcus on Monday. We had gorgeous weather and these two were so easy to work with. They are so in love and that made my job easy. Capturing the interaction between the two of them was simple. They just celebrated their 2nd year of marriage, and I wish them many more happy years! Thanks, Jessica & Marcus for a great session!
Sophie & Lily
I got to play with Sophie, Lily, and their Mommy and Daddy yesterday. We started out at Franklin Park, but quickly moved to Jeffrey Mansion. There is just something about that place...it's magic when it comes to photography. Sophie and Lily are two of the sweetest little girls. They were struggling with the time change, but still did a great job. Sophie warmed up to me right away and had me carrying her everywhere. Lily was a little unsure at first, but all it took was her Mommy to get her smiling and belly laughing. Lily will be celebrating her first birthday next month, and I can't wait to have the priveledge of taking her 1st birthday pics! Thanks, Aaron & Amy for a great day!
Beth & Todd
Monday I photographed Beth & Todd, and their two boys, Michael & James. I think it was the coldest day of the year so far and we had about 20 mile an hour winds. They were all troopers and we would all huddle inside the shelter house at the park to warm up before heading back out. The boys were alot of fun! Michael was so cooperative, and James had me laughing the whole time. He kept wanting to do silly faces for the camera. So, if he gave me good smiles, then I would take his picture being silly. That worked for him! Beth and Todd, the next time we meet for pictures, I hope it is a warm day!
New Studio Backdrop
With the weather getting colder, the opportunity for outdoor sessions is dwindling. Eras Photography is able to shoot inside your home using our studio backdrop, or using your home as the backdrop. This provides an opportunity to get studio pictures in the comfort of your home. I will still shoot in a photojournalistic style, so there will be no portrait studio, cookie cutter sessions. If you are interested in custom portraits shot in your home, please contact me!
Karen & Steve
I had the pleasure of photographing Karen & Steve, and their 4 kids today. Their daughter, Erna, just got married last Friday to Kalen, so we did a few shots of the two of them as well. They are such a fun family. The kids were so cooperative, and let their true silliness show at the end of the shoot. This family is so close and was so refreshing to see that families like theirs still exist today. Thanks Karen and Steve for sharing your wonderful family with me today!
Riley & Abbie
I had an absolute blast photographing this family. They were absolutely game for anything I wanted them to do. We had so much fun trying to capture moments between the four of them. With a little bit of bribery the kids were so cooperative, and Riley is such the little poser! I work with both Mom and Dad, and have watched their kids grow up, so I was beyond thrilled when they asked me to do their pictures. I am so happy with the photos that we took. I had such a hard time deciding which ones to post as a preview on here. Enjoy!
