Meeting Tatiana [Hilliard, OH Newborn Photographer]

I had the pleasure of meeting Tatiana's parents at the Baby Expo in April, when Mom was 38 weeks pregnant. When they contacted me to do Tatiana's newborn pics, I was so excited to meet this sweet girl. I got to photograph her at the tender age of 10 days, and I was nervous she wouldn't sleep well, being almost 2 weeks old. But, she slept like a champ, and was one of my easiest newborns ever. I had a great time at her session, and hope to get to continue to photograph her in the future.

Chloe at 6 months [Columbus, OH Infant Photographer]

I first met Chloe's family when I cared for her older brother in the NICU over 8 years ago. I fell in love with her brother in a heartbeat and took care of him on the day he came in to the NICU and the day he went home (along with many days in between!). I have kept in touch with his parents over the past 8 years, and was BEYOND thrilled when his mom contacted me to do Chloe's 6 month pictures. It is times like these that I truly love both of my jobs...both as a nurse and as a photographer. I am touched by people's lives time and time again...and my worlds come together so often. I am so blessed to get to do what I love every day. Thank you, Kara for allowing me to photograph Chloe...and to be a part of your lives for the past 8 years.

Expecting Andrew [Columbus, OH Maternity Photographer]

I met with this beautiful couple back in March, as they were expecting their first baby. Little Andrew was born before I even got their maternity proofs to them. They were so much fun. I couldn't wait to get the chance to photograph their little boy.

Newborn Posing Class [Columbus, Ohio Newborn Photography]

Would you like to learn how to create beautiful newborn images like the ones above?

I am holding a newborn posing class to teach you all the basics of working with newborns, as a photographer. We will go over my setup, talking with the parents about what to expect during the setup, handling the baby, getting baby to sleep, and several different newborn poses.

This class is scheduled for Sunday, June 27. Time is TBD. I will be taking 5 photographers for this class. You need not be a pro, just want to learn how to work with newborns for shoots. Depending on the interest for this class, I may be adding future classes. Cost for the class will be $125, and will include lunch. Please email me at erasphotography@gmail.com to register for this class. At that time, I will give you more details. You will be allowed to shoot at the class, so please bring your camera. However, I will be the only one handling the baby.

If you are a parent that is expecting around this time, and would like to have your baby be a model for the class, you will receive a free session with 5 full resolution images on disc, along with a print release.
